Rep. Paul Takac January 12, 2023 | 3:55 PM
STATE COLLEGE, Jan. 12 – A project to aid watershed restoration along Spring and Bald Eagle creeks has been selected to receive a $165,000 state grant, state Rep. Paul Takac, D-Centre, announced today.
“I want to congratulate the Spring Creek Chapter of Trout Unlimited for the work they have done not only to secure this important state grant, but the work they do throughout our region to preserve and promote the outdoors,” Takac said. “Our creeks and outdoor spaces are some of the things that make our region so special, and I am dedicated to making sure they are not only protected, but also accessible for responsible recreation by all.”
The $165,000 state grant was funded through the state’s Growing Greener program and was one of eleven projects in the northcentral region that was awarded funding today.
